We hit the road early from Merced and got to Gilroy later that morning to hang out with two of my high school friends and their families. It was a gorgeous day for a picnic and a refreshing time to watch kids play and reminisce about old times. Later that day, we went to a Chinese restaurant and a froyo place with one of my friends; Jada had been fiending for hot and sour soup, and Aaron for ice cream, so they both got their wishes.
