Our first full day in Cali, and of course we were eager to re-establish our morning habit of hitting the local Y. Amy did a couple of classes while I lifted and then took the kids to the local Target. We grabbed food to go at a nearby grocery store and then headed to Gilroy to see a dear high school friend of mine. We spent the afternoon at his house and then at their local playground. It was sweet to catch up and much fun for the kids (my friends has three kids, all around Jada and Aaron's age). We brought dinner home and then I sent the kids off to bed so I could catch up with my mom. A full but fun first full day.
