What a wonderful time we had in Williamsburg. We were sad to check out but happy to have one more city to hit on our vacation, which was DC. We were packed and breakfasted by 10ish so made it to DC around 1p. After scoping out the hotel amenities, we walked over to National Geographic Museum to take in the exhibits and buy stuff from their great gift shop. Then it was back to the hotel's rooftop lounge for a dip in the pool and some chicken wings from the poolside grill. A nice, relaxing ease into the nation's capital.
