Hershey, Day 2

We got the kids a swim and a big hotel breakfast so they could last a long time at Hershey Park.  Alas, it wasn't meant to be.

We got there just as the park opened, and unlike Disneyland, there weren't mobs of people, so even the big rides didn't require hours of waiting.  Unfortunately, the biggest rides were off-limits to the kids due to height requirements, but they probably wouldn't have wanted to try them anyway - some were scary to me!  (Amy was undeterred and rode some.)

Past noon brought a shift to the water section, but this where things started to wear down.  First, it took forever to secure a locker and get ourselves situated for water play.  Then, as the temps increased, so did the crowds, so everything took a long time to do.  Finally, Aaron withered severely, necessitating I pull out of line with him to wait in another line for food just to keep him from keeling over.  Even after the corn dog infusions, he was done for the day.  It was barely 4p but it was time for us to head back to the hotel.  Oh well.  We still had fun while we were there...but next time we'll game-plan better.
