For Mother's Day, I cashed in a downtown hotel voucher and the four of us spent the night in Center City. We took the subway downtown, checked in, went for a swim in the hotel pool, and then went out to dinner in Chinatown nearby. Afterwards, we got drinks at Dunkin Donuts and stayed up late watching cable TV.The next morning, we did our usual Sunday morning run to Federal Donuts, only this time it was the Center City location. Then we hit Reading Terminal Market for breakfast before checking out and heading home. It was a lot of fun, and most of all we were all together - not a bad way to spend a Mother's Day weekend.
