Grades

Two report card conferences back-to-back yesterday.  Here's the skinny:

Jada got her C in math from last time up to an A, and got A's in everything else except for a B in reading.  Jada's teacher offered some really useful strategies for working on the reading that I'm looking forward to putting into practice. 

Aaron got all A's except for a C in writing.  Writing was his only non-A class the last two quarters too (B 1st quarter and C 2nd quarter).  We have a bunch of his work from the classroom and plan to go over it with him.
