Especially for our two city kids, an afternoon at Morris Arboretum was a treat for the senses. We met up with a friend of mine who is a big-time advocate of parks, and we marveled together at how healthy it is for kids to frolic amidst trees, grass, and flowers. Indeed, Jada and Aaron and their friends reveled in seeing snakes slither through ground and brook, building with log cabin logs while in a log cabin, and rolling down a steep hill without a care in the world. Good times all around, I'll surely we'll be back again for more.
