We had a thought of doing California Adventure today, thus opening up the possibility of doing a third theme park later in the trip. Alas, since we were out late the night before, we got a late start and decided to keep California Adventure for another day. Instead, we headed for Santa Monica Pier, where we walked the boardwalk, played in the ocean, and caught some rays. (Well, actually a lot of rays: Amy got burnt pretty crispy.) We retired from there early and bummed around the hotel room in the evening, finally getting to bed at a reasonable hour after two nights in a row of being out way late. We might be trying to max out on the fun, but vacation also means sleep.
