Fairmount Park

Forbidden Drive in Fairmount Park is one of my very favorite and meaningful places in the world.  It's where I used to go when I was happy and sad, to rest and to get away, and to gaze at Wissahickon Creek and the towering trees on both sides.  And it's where I proposed to Amy over 13 years ago.

So it was fun to bring Aaron and Jada there this weekend.  We climbed rocks and fed the ducks, breathed in fresh air and listened to the rushing water near us.  It was delightful, restful, and fun.  We will be back again soon.
