Aaron and Jada had their first appointment with their new pediatrician yesterday. We made the switch in spite of the fact that we loved their old pediatrician. But the fact of the matter was that we rarely got to see him, the rest of the patient experience left something to be desired, and the place was pretty far away.In contrast, yesterday couldn't have gone smoother - we had Aaron and Jada scheduled back-to-back, and we were actually done before Jada's official appointment time. Plus the place is less than a mile away from our house. So we're glad for all this; even though this is only a once-a-year activity, better to have it like this than to have to take the better part of a day, between driving, parking, waiting, arguing, more waiting, more arguing, and still more waiting.
