Amy's sister was kind enough to offer to take the kids for the afternoon and show them a good time. We jumped at the chance for some no-kid time. Even if it didn't involve massive plans out and about - we ended up getting hoagies, laughing aloud at TV, playing Scrabble, and taking a gloriously uninterrupted nap - it was so fun and so relaxing. Meanwhile, the kids were in seventh heaven, eating their uncle's delicious soup, watching cartoons, and playing hide-and-seek in a new house (an underrated kid activity, if you ask me). Good times all around!
