Huangs in San Jose, Day 6
We took a lovely drive to Pacifica to meet friends for brunch - given all the goodies, including smoothies and Belgian waffles, Jada and Aaron ate very well. On the way home, we stopped by Pizza Hut, because we had vouchers for free personal pan pizzas, courtesy of their schools.
That was a nice addition to an incredible home-cooked meal by my dad, topped off by ice cream and cream puffs. Mid-dinner, we bundled up, headed outside, and saw the International Space Station flying through the night sky. Very cool to see something that bright and that big and that far away.
Finally, I'm not too wounded to report that, after we put the kids to bed, Amy beat me in Scrabble - again! I'm 0-2 on this trip, and itching for a rematch!
