Aaron's knee always seems to hurt when I need him to walk a block or four when we're out and about. Even when he's not whining, he doesn't walk nearly as fast as I often feel I want to or need to. I have to learn to slow down and not tear his arm off.
There is one thing that will put a spring in his step, and that's chasing birds. As soon as he spies one, he bounds off towards it, and when he gets as close to it as he can before it flies off, he growls at it.
His bird-loving aunt will not like to hear this, but Aaron appears to enjoy scaring birds. I shiver at the thought of the birds meeting up to discuss how to take vengeance.
