Roomies
Now that Jada is up on the third floor, in a new bedroom with new carpet and a new bunk bed, Aaron has decided to heck with sleeping in his own, tiny bedroom. So after we put the kids to bed, he saunters into Jada's room, plops down in the lower bunk, and there he is for the night. Jada puts up more resistance some days than others, but usually if Aaron isn't too chatty, her protests to us are half-hearted.
We're conflicted, as we'd prefer the kids stay separate and stationary. On the other hand, Aaron contends his room is "too scary" and he seems to enjoy being Jada's bunkmate. And Jada seems to take secret comfort that her room is the go-to room. So we'll see how this plays out.
