Flossing the Lions
The fun new addition to our bedtime routine is me flossing Jada and Aaron's teeth. I don't know where we got the idea, but the kids love it so far. I ask them to open their mouths as wide as possible, and have found that telling them to pretend that they are lions helps. (They seem to like roaring loudly without being scolded by me.)
I realize these are their baby teeth. But good habits are good to set, and it took me forever to settle into the good habit of flossing, so if I can get my kids to do it at an early age, I figure it's worth the couple of minutes it takes each evening. (Plus have I mentioned how much fun they have roaring like lions?)
