What a week it's been with our little "dark and stormy." Two morning sessions of "circle school" plus a teacher in-service meant he was home from full-day school three days this week, which, while it put quite the stress on Amy in the midst of her studies, should have had Aaron on cloud nine, what with all the mommy-time and attendant coddling. Alas, not even large quantities of Amy seemed to soothe the monster inside him: tantrums were frequent, obstinacy and defiance reigned, and bedtimes became battles. On our side, patience is sapped, nerves frayed, and wits at an end. What a handful he's been this week. Let's hope the weekend's festivities put him in a better mood.
