Another Jada

Jada is such a fan of the animated movie, "Madagascar," that she now insists on watching all the bonus features as well. In one of the extras, they interview major cast members, including Jada Pinkett Smith, who plays Gloria the hippo. Once I told Jada that that person's name was also Jada, she has decided that she too is Gloria the hippo. (By the way, she has also assigned me Alex the lion, Amy Melman the giraffe, and Aaron Marty the zebra.) And so now she goes around quoting Gloria's lines from the film, like, "Alrighty, boys: fun's over." I could certainly think of worse role models for my daughter than Gloria the hippo or Jada Pinkett Smith.
