how God uses desperate times to cultivate faithfulness - but Amy and I
have definitely been more prayerful about our kids of late. Earlier
this month, we decided to institute a family devotion time, where we
four come together, read a quick story out of a children's Bible, pray
for one or two things, and then proceed to our bedtime routines.
We haven't wanted it to be this forced thing, so if we miss a day or
two, we don't sweat it; but it has been fun to establish some
semblance of a tradition that hopefully will help our kids appreciate
the importance of prayer and Bible. Now if I can just get Jada to
stop bopping around while Amy or I are praying.
