We four went to Forbidden Drive in Fairmount Park, and took some footage of the great scenery. One video I didn't take, though, is the one I'll remember the most when I close my eyes.
Amy had bolted ahead of us, running freely and happily. Jada decided to give chase. When Amy got as far as I could possibly see, she turned around, and ran towards Jada. The two ran towards each other, and then Amy scooped up Jada and twirled her around. My tears welled up with happiness at this wonderful sequence.
Part of me lamented not reaching into my pocket to turn on my camcorder. But another part of me was glad to just watch, and to commit this image to memory that way.
