We liked our jaunt to Forbidden Drive so much on Saturday that we went again today. This time we tried another part of the park, which got us closer to some smaller creeks but which was equally wooded. It reminded me of times my parents would take my sister and me hiking. It's not the same with a screaming one-year-old and a high-strung three-year-old, but someday soon, we'll be able to ditch the stroller and walk a little further than we did today. For now, we'll take the shorter but just as rewarding snippets of scenery and fresh air.
