Panicky
Jada has been a beast at bedtime. Amy and I have been pretty stressed this week, I've been coming home late from work, and all the packing makes for a chaotic scene. And we think Jada picks up on all this. We also wonder if she wonders if Amy's leaving: she's been unusually clingy towards her, and panics every time Amy opens the front door or puts on a jacket, even if it's just to take the garbage out. I've written before about the fierceness of Jada's bond with Amy, after having no category for having a mom for the first 7 1/2 months of her life. It looks like as she enters her third year and becomes all the more aware of herself and her world, the panic associated with fearing a loss in that relationship has hit another stage. We'll keep you posted.
