Amy took Jada to a birthday party. So I didn't get to go and play
photographer and documentarian, but I still got to hear the stories
afterwards, which I'll pass on secondhand.
By all accounts, Jada was very well-behaved, confident, and happy,
three traits I always hope our kids to exhibit in public. She had a
great time at the party, and why not? She got to eat birthday cake,
pet a kitty cat, and get a temporary tattoo of a train on her hand.
She even explored an expansive backyard and fell into a frog pond.
Not too bad of an outing for a toddler.
