No Place Like Home

Even though we had a great time at the Shore, it was good to be home -
at least for the girls. Amy had forgotten how nice and big our house
was, and how good it felt to sleep in her own bed. Jada reveled in
her toys and videos.

Meanwhile, Aaron's cold had worsened, and less adults around meant
less getting held and pampered. And as for me, being home just meant
the resumption of many, many to-do's, from bills to adoption paperwork
to home maintenance.

Still, the important thing is that we have a home to come home to.
And that we're all together. And, even for Aaron and me, and
especially for Jada and Amy, there's no place like home.
