An Eventful 24 Hours

What an eventful 24 hours our son has had. First, the good news: his visa interview went well, and so it appears he's cleared to enter the US on schedule. Kudos to my parents for getting themselves and him up early enough to get from Taichung to Taipei and still make the morning appointment.

Now, the bad news. It appears Aaron is a bit sick. Upper respiratory infection, fever, throwing up . . . it's been an adventure. My parents had a pretty sleepless night tending to him. Hopefully, the worst is over, but what a rough night.

As if in an act of solidarity with her little brother, Jada has cried every evening right before and after we put her to bed. Are we ready for this times two? One look at the pictures below, and you'll see why, nervous and numb as we are, we're excited too.
