Jada sure loves her ABCs and 123s. When she sees letters and numbers
anywhere - on a sign, on your shirt, on a book - she'll say what they
are. Her and Amy will sing the alphabet, alternating letters. And
her favorite thing of them all, lately, is to count to ten; even right
now, past 9 pm, when I had put her to bed over an hour and a half ago,
I can hear her through the baby monitor going, "One-ah, two-ah,
three-ah . . . " She's still not as conversant as many of her
friends, but she's catching up, one letter and one number at a time.
