While Jada is lucky to see Amy's parents fairly often, she doesn't
hardly ever get to see my parents. So when we got to see them
recently and they doted on her as good grandparents do, it was like
finding out that there are two Christmases a year. She liked the
Taiwanese videos my dad showed her and enjoyed playing on the carpeted
stairs with my mom. Just like with Amy's parents, Jada being with my
parents relegated us to the status of chopped liver . . . not that we
minded, of course - more down time for us! I was joking with Amy that
Jada was thinking, "You mean I have a second set of grandparents?"
Life just keeps getting richer for our bon-bon.
