Solids

Our pediatrician encouraged us last week to start feeding Jada more solids and to replace the formula with whole milk. This really opens up the playbook for us in terms of her diet. Before, it was a predictable cycle of baby food jars mixed with rice cereal, and bottle after bottle of formula, with the occasional exotic treat like dim sum or sushi just for kicks and giggles. Now, we’re going bananas . . . and diced strawberries, green beans, cheese cubes, ground beef, and maybe even that toddler staple, Cheerios. So far, she’s taking to everything well, but she’s always had a good appetite, so that was to be expected. Parents, any other fun and healthy foods to recommend for this stage?
