Amy and I are already talking about the next one, albeit in very broad tones. Anyway, I found this blog that talks about how the agency in China that coordinates international adoptions is now stating that the referral process takes 12 months, up from 6 months. Although the average right now seems to be 9 months, I guess they figure it's only going to get busier and might as well give a conservative number. Between bird flu, the trade fair, and rising demand, we are thankful to God that our referral only took 6 months.
